Warning: The ribbed "deans" type connectors that rctimer sells are not compatible with the old HC ribbed connectors and are not compatible with real Deans. What's even more disappointing is I submitted a review along those lines on the rctimer website and it never showed up on the site. So buyer beware.

Others have reported that they do in fact work well with the real Deans connectors. I ordered some of the ribbed ones because of that, and they work fine with my other Deans connectors. They're actually easier to use because of the ribbing on them. The only other consideration would be how much current these things can handle, but for my applications, that won't be a problem.

Interesting. I bought a bunch of ribbed "deans" type connectors from RC Timer when they first started selling and have had no issues with compatibility with any of my real Deans, HC deans or any other 'deans' that I got off FeeBay. I treat all my connectors with powdered graphite and they all connect and come apart easily. Some applications are over 70 amps.

Ribbed deans

You gonna give em away...I'll take em also.

I musta got a "Lucky" batch because they work with all the other knock offs and the real thing.

I looked at these rctimer ribbed connectors a bit more (I ordered 100 pair a while back). Some of them are extremely tight when plugging together while others are better. Most are very "loose" in the real Deans female connectors I have while the male HC ribbed connectors will not plug into the female rctimer connectors.

I submitted a similar review to this on rctimer's website but it never showed up. That's the main issue I have with the rctimer transaction. If negative reviews are not posted than the review section is worthless.

I'll sell these connectors cheap to someone who wants them. For US buyers $20 shipped for 50 pair or $35 shipped for 100 pair.

^ How long ago did you order them? bc-slowflyer says he ordered some when they first appeared. I wonder if they've changed.

Another order!!

I'm real happy with the RC Timer 3530 1100kv. And Nina shows up here to answer questions is cool. The ribbed connectors are very tight in the Deans for me too. But I like'em. Thanks Kcobra very good deal and I saw you took a beating on shipping.

I just ordered the "ribbed" Dean's connectors along with the Multiplex 6-pin connectors. A friend ordered the same products and said he got them quickly and they work just fine. I paid about $2 for shipping. We'll see, but I'm thinkin' this is a good source.

I still have 50 pair left. $20 shipped is the lowest I can go. Any less and it's not worth the gas to the post office.
