For the two orders I have placed there has never been any $30 fees. There is a relatively small "transfer" fee or something like that, but the fees are in the area of 3.78 and 2.00. But yes, they are still extra fees.

I just went to the website to cut and paste the sub-totals from one of my orders, but the site is down...again.

30.00 Fee

Just below the paypal fee and the shipping option there was a 30.00 fee. Knowing how long and difficult it is to recoup money decided to cancel order. Anybody else seen this? Nina says in post all shipping and handling is free. Why then is this even there. I was afraid continuing with the order would have constituted fee acceptance. Can't access the site this AM

Anyone using RCTimer's 40a escs? They look different from their other escs (no yellow heatshrink) and I've read about a couple different guys having defective ones. I've used a few of their 30a escs and they have been great so far.

Hobbypartz has 40a units but they are quite a bit more $ than RCTimer...

I just ordered a 50amper...not sure if it would be the same make as the 40 though. Obviously, be sure to use a BEC. I can report back once I have a chance to test it...which would probably be a couple weeks.

Nina,

In regards to your company listing the electrical specifications of its brushless motors could you mention they should list the constant load current of all of the motors rather than just a few. I left you a message (or it might not be you) on ebay regarding the 2217-11 specs. Your motors seem to be nicely made. Thanks.

I have a couple of the 2826-6's that look like the one on ebay (smooth stator). I have also just placed an order for the newer looking 2826 and 3530 that have the "twisted" stator. We'll see what comes in. The 2826-6 does provide a little bit more power. Here are some ballpark running stat tests.

Motors tests:
Tested with a 25c 2200mah 3s, 6x4e prop, and a 40amp controller.

The 2212-6 draws ~ 11 amps and 121 watts at half throttle. At full throttle, we got ~ 21amps and 207 watts.

The 2826-6 draws ~11 amps and 123watts at half throttle. At full throttle, we got ~ 21 amps and 221 watts.
