Just kidding perhaps, but I can hit the rctimer site using both IE and FF, so it appears that the issue may be on your network.

This is the esc in question. It has a crazy jerking pulse on the motor on start-up. I have checked all joints and even tried all timings. Also tried all the start-up modes and super soft was the most jerky. So I took another rctimer 30amp and it didnt do it. So then tried the 40amp on a different motor and the same problem happened. So it is the ecs for sure. Another issue is it will not link with my hobbywing card?

This is usually a timing issue. This is usually called "sync loss". Trying different timing modes usually corrects an issue like that.

It is a V2 ESC. It should work with this style program card, but may not work with the original HW-style card. Note that the one I linked to is the brushless car esc, not the air/heli esc.

thanks man. the v2 card is the one I use, and as I said above I have tried all the timings on the esc. So has anyone sent an esc back yet? what was the cost?

If so, I noticed that it works for the car V2 escs, but for heli/air, it says platinum. All of the platinum series ESCs listed on that same website indicate that they are V1. So, that box may not work on the V2 heli/air escs.

This program card is suitable for the following ESCs:
1. XERUN Series Car ESC (Version 2.0)
2. EZRUN Series Car ESC (Version 2.0)
3. PLATINUM Series Helicopter/Aircraft ESC

The aforementioned ESC in question web decsription is incomplete.

It needs to specifically say which version programmer will and won't work with it.
