Discussion Runway Repair... Oct 17th... We need your Help!

Problem: The runways at LV are small and getting rotten. Winter is coming.

Answer: We lay down ... New ... bigger runways!

Date: Oct 17th... Saturday

So yours truly, along with certain high ranking law enforcement officials have put together a sure fire plan to get our flying site back in shape. We need a bunch of LV pilots (that's you) to contribute to this effort. If you have been flying at LV, then its time to stand and help out.

FREE Food Provided: BBQ Lunch will be provided...mostly hot dogs I think, courtesy of "Law Dogs" himself.

Schedule:

8AM: Group 1 Volunteers .... We need volunteers to help rip out the
existing runways. Yep, the old runways come out. We need someone to haul
the mess to the dump. Bring hammers with the claw on the back.

9AM: We turn Charlie and Fred Gardiner loose with the tractors to smooth
things out. We expect that to take a couple of hours.

11AM: Group 2 Volunteers ... Roll out new runways...pound in the new bolts. Everyone should bring their own hammer...to pound bolts into the ground. This is the best part. If no one comes out for this part, then we'll all be flying in dirt, sand, goose crap, and mud...the rest of the year. Want to fly in the mud...this winter??? Don't show up to help.

Of course, if we get our volunteers, then you can look forward to fresh,
clean, new runways.
