Maker sure you get the digital version:
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...idProduct=5195

The real price will appear when you put it in your cart, about $26

Yup - that's the one. So far I'm quite happy with it!

Hi
is there a chance that someone has a recommended list to buy from Hobby city to get the HK-250 in the air?
I have the HK 450 and love it, so I have chargers and Dx6i.
Looks like the SG90 fit.
What motor is needed ?
What size ESC

THANKS

I crashed one of my 250, the other day. It was too windy. I was trying to do a couple of piro flips, but It was too close to the ground. The wind just blew the heli out of it's position and straight into the ground. Damage Report: Bent tail boom. Scratches on the fins, and tail gear box.. I managed to repair the tail boom, with a metal rod. I resprayed most of the parts that was damaged. Luckily I order a lot of spare parts. There are more spare parts on the way. Time to replenish the backup supplies. There are a lot of things I am learning, RL flying is nothing like the sim. Unexpected wind gusts, is just something I don't expect or look out for. The heli on the sim is an almost perfectly design heli, compared to my RL heli (which is imbalanced, and under performed). I need to learn how to almagamate the two somehow. I will, one day....

My HK250GT lost its power! Strange. It bogs immediately I push collective. Almost like my all batteries got another 100 cycles in them. And all I've done is to change tail shaft. Strange...

Check the pinion Gear? It could be that its sliiping when it comes up with resistance? Also maybe check the main gear is secured to the main shaft well.

Currently Sport but hopefully will progress this year into basic 3d and inverted.

I was thinking something like http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=10977 on the cyclic and http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...idProduct=5195 on the tail with a gyro from leaders hobby that i've already ordered.

I'm going to use the 4200kv motor from hobbyking with a mystery 20A speed controller and 3s 750 rhino's.

Thanks

Brett

What ever you do, dont go cheap on the tail servo and gyro. made that mistake and payed for it. It took me months to get it setup.
Eventually i got a better gyro and servo, then it worked great.

Brett: that's a nice setup btw. look most hard 3d guys don't like the soft start in the align/cc25 esc. I don't know if you prefer soft start for now, but the turnigy plush series esc has a soft start, it's reasonable(which is what I use). but if you want something more softer go for the cc25 / kontronik mini jazz

and get a quark. it's a good investment. or just go straight to FBL ALign head, BX. There's a growing number of pilots here now using that setup

I can hover nose in, and fly around have only flipped it twice, so I would say just scale at the moment. I have a 450 and the MSR Looking at the 250 or the Blade 120. Just for playing in the back yard. I know the 120 would be a blast for chasing rabbits but the 250 could let me practice inverted flite.

woah I don't know what to say dude. I just been to 3 different online outlets to show you some alternatives, but they are all out of stock!

there must be a big demand in the 250 helis. This is on a 2S+16T setup. Or 3S+11T setup

http://www.helidirect.com/tonicx-515...fox-p-6824.hdx

http://helidirect.com/align-15a-brus...15x-p-9968.hdx

http://helidirect.com/align-motor-pi...250-p-9271.hdx

or

http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store...idProduct=9223
http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store...idProduct=2163
http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store...dProduct=11898

man sorry dude I can't find any online shops that has these kind of gear, that are in stock!

hobbyshops around the world are buying from HK, and they are just cleaning out the shelves every time we need something. Unless you are willing to wait and place it on back order.

this is crazy. I've never seen this before.
