That looks exactly like this one here, well very similar...but I don't have one. Cheaper here too.

I'm merely offering an alternative to those who may just want to start out in the hobby with a small budget and later on if they continue to pursue the hobby, they can buy better choices of electronics at their next model build.

250 Torque Tube 250 TT
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fIDAzP0beVc just a taste of things to come ![]() So who's going to build the world's first 250 FBL TT heli?

My only concern with the Tarot TT is it locks you in to using their soft tail shafts. Plus I've had no issues with the latest Align 250 belt.

it's just something different bf. My first heli was a $400 450 TT, and I crashed it. I never went back since. It was smoothe, it just felt different to fly. May be it was just all in my head. lol

Yeah, I though about doing it just because it was cool, but as I said, I was put off by the tail shaft. If it hadn't been for that I would have done it. It's a pity Align didn't come out with it first, in the 250 Pro. A disappointing update, that one.

shafts are always been a sensitive unit to have, a hard landing and bam you're up for a replacement on the gears. But i think this one here is just one of those things that would be nice in the collection of 250s. I wouldn't even fly it! alright may be just once.
But it's like a nitro 250, it would be nice to have one of those aswell in the collection. You know what I mean? It's something that not many people in this world would have. It would be something cool and very special to have. IMO I'm definately considering getting it, once mhills finishes his build hopefully with out any hassles/dramas.

This might not always cause immediate damage, but compared to a belt tail it's certainly more vulnerable. ![]() I'm somewhat of a belt drive freak though, as very few helicopters I own have a torque tube tail. I also have no problems setting up a belt drive, even when there's a slight advantage with the torque tube drive in being a more direct drive. |

The shafts for them are very basic. You can easily make one your self out of what ever hardness you want. That newest one in the video uses a collar glued into place much like the align pinions and motor for the 250
