Gain 63 %. I'm still working on this. and the turnigy fine tuning here and there. This is my first mems gyro, so I'm like a blind man on a busy street, not knowing where to go. I'm still learning, i'm getting there. but the piro is too fast for my eyes, I can't keep up with it.

this again is on the 2S setup, with the FF200 5000kv motor(zpower clone). HS 4500, pack was hot after testing.

Did any instructions come with the gyro for set up? Keep us up dated

I got a flyer from Hobby King it has the HK-250 on there as if they carry it? Always out of stock and you cannot back order! I see they do carry parts still, but why advertise kits if you dont carry them.

Well my CopterX kit made it out of Hong Kong before the Chinese New Year!

Your item left HONG KONG AIR MAIL CENTRE, HONG KONG on January 30, 2011. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again lat

I would think mail should be slowing down now so the guys in US customs should not take as long, then again they may drag their feet and take it easy.

well i'm giving this a chance just like the piezo gyros i've used. I'm new to the mems gyros, so it's taking a bit of time. I have the feeling the bounce is the result of when i let go of the sticks. I'm trying to figure out how to stop that. I've added 30% expo to the rudder, i'm wondering would i need more?

Well, that piece alone is close to $10 shipped. I am thinking of simply getting a 2nd 250 kit, like Copterx for $60 shipped.

Can someone tell me What KV motors are best for different flying styles?

I have seen many motors for the 250 with a large range of KV and I have no clue as to what I should look for. I understand the 250 is going to be a handful compared to my 450. I will be mostly sport flying and in time hope to try some flips or rolls over a large weed patch.

The 250 isn't that much of a handful, you just have to be aware that the disc loading is higher and it gets small very fast!

I like a higher kv motor with a smaller pinion - my thought is that the motor turning faster has more momentum and will help you maintain headspeed. A higher kv motor also has less windings, which means it can use larger wires, which means less resistance and more efficiency.

they are great kits youll enjoy it provided you have owned a heli like this before and worked on it yourself. this power system you bought for it is a beginner setup but to get you in the air it will work fine. theres a green colored motor they are selling on ebay really cheap that is a hot lil motor i used it in a heli i setup for someone else really good headspped on a 14 t pinion dont remember the kv was around 4000 or more ugly lime green i think abeyerr is selling them

I am not sure if I should simply go with the metal one for $10 shipped.

I haven't been to a local shop for quite some time now, just too lazy for the drive.

Ok, I bought the align metal one, $10 shipped from Taiwan on ebay. I read some others report failure on this piece as well. Along with the swashplate, feathering shaft and tail belt..., that's more than $40 in addition on genuine align parts.
