Hi guys, I keep looking at the plastic versions tail control arm.. its the same on the GT, but I think they have used a thinner screw on the GT to mount it with, and this wobbles on the bush.
Is it just my particular HK250GT, or is yours like it too?

What is the difference in weight between the two kits?
I still believe in most cases one is better off with plastic on the Boom block, bearing blocks, and tail case (no advantage to the weight gained by CNC, but Disadvantages is loc tight is needed for screws).
But I am a minority.
actually, a cnc tail case is very important, because a plastic tail case will act like a resonance amplifier and make any slight tail vibes much worse, so you wont be able to run a high headspeed.

dont forget you want cnc tail blade grips too

oh, and the motor mount - definately would not even try and fly that one as a plastic part

Think the plastic will fail easer than first thought, or is it just sloppy.
I See it needs some trimming.
It's not all plastic as every thought it would be.

Hal I don't have the GT, But the GT is almost $60, would I be better off getting a Copterx http://www.ehirobo.com/shop/product_...oducts_id=5578 for exactly the same price? If you had to choose between the two which one would you get?

Thank you

Paul

it depends what you want from a heli, I like small helis, so i would go with the HK250GT myself, but for a more stable, and easier to see platform, that CX450 looks great.

and CX make arguably the best clones out there.

tell me a little more about what you plan on doing with either heli, and I can reccomend further

Yeah I'll take your advice Hal. I'll go for the CX. there seems to be too many people complaining that their 250 have wrong size bearings in the the head for the HK250GT. I'll wait for the HK250GT V2. But I do appreciatte your review. thank you Hal

Really: I have never had a 250, is this something unique to the smaller helis?
I have never noticed a difference on my 300, 400 or 450í tails other than weight or durability.

I donít like my plastic motor mount on my HK-450 but it is working for the moment.I would not think there would be more motor toque on the smaller heli, is there? Just asking?
