Here we go again, be patient as I gather the info as these planes start to make it out into the world.

I will eventually edit this into a cohesive posting, but for now I am collecting the data.

Please feel free to add to this, I will just edit it back into this post.

Parkzone (and Eflite...) has really gone all out for you snow bound guys this winter.

From the older Parkzone Centurions, through the Vapor and Ember, and now this?

As I mentioned before, I can really see these mustangs bringing pylon racing into the gym. They should be fast enough, yet maneuverable enough, to make it fun.

Plus as Matt showed, they are easily customized.

Looking at the way the top hatch comes off, you can make several different versions, and just switch them out. The A and B ridgeback versions, the bubble top, and the lowered canopy reno racers to name a few.

You guys write about it, I'll link it here.

I can't wait to see what this next flying season produces!

I look forward to seeing mods to the p-51. Maybe someone will paint theirs with the Gunfighter scheme and have a side by side picture of the mini and the biggy.

I love the performance of the Gunfighter too, not to mention this little bird

As with the Sukhoi, I am putting on a 240 Mah Hobby King Battery. I just tape it but I am sure a little velcro could be used. It does lose a little aerobatic ability but makes up for it in run time of about 10 mins. Inverted flight is a little bit trickier and loops are too. Here's some video.....

I don't know if my elevator pushrod was 'normal' or not. But moving it in on the horn was not going to work as it was already pressing up against the top of the slot in the fus. side.

Yes, that seems to be normal design/manufacturing flaw - I have the same. Nice work correcting it.

Interesting - thanks.

It's a simple fix. If you carefully grip the main part of the pushrod with thin pliers you can twist the wire end piece out relatively easily, leaving the heatshrink (?) in place on the rod.

Snip off at the right angle bend in wire, bend a new right angle, de-burr the end of the wire, then you can re-insert into the heat shrink. A tiny drop of thin cyano completes the job.

On mine, moving the pushrod in two holes as shown doesn't quite give the specified maximum throw.

Here are my settings with a DX6i, works great for me:

D/R & Expo
(low rates)
Aileron 0 65% +20%
Elevator 0 65% +20%
Rudder 0 65% INH

(high rates)
Aileron 1 100% +30%
Elevator 1 100% +30%
Rudder 1 100% INH

Travel adjustments
Throttle 125%
All others 100%

Sub-trim set to get all control surfaces as close to neutral as I can by eye, then I trim it in flight.

Try one of these collars...
They work great for connecting\adjusting servo rods.
No cyano\heatshrink required.
