I've got the new E-flite Stearman PT-17 15e ARF ready to maiden. Hopefully that will happen on Saturday.

Cut plans for a new yak last night. I need to make some templates since I think I will be making more than one more of these planes. This will probably be my new fly anywhere/anytime plane.

Have slick, batteries, tx, etc. Now I just need time and I'm ready to fly. I need to do some flight testing to see if my new ESC programming has helped with power.

Craig:

When you get that laser cutter cranking them out, let us know! I have some 10 mm EPP that's not cut into anything yet.

I have a SolidWorks Users Group Meeting over lunch today, so I won't be flying till later in the afternoon when the MARS Micro Modelers fly forth from 4:00 to 6:30.

Radian...sweet. I'd be interested to know how it compares to the EZ Glider.

Don't put it up in a "regular" combat session. It doesn't last too long.

we had several combat sessions at Hodges over the weekend. The Yak didn't fare to well against the purpose built combat planes.

Bob and I do "hover combat" with the yaks. Basicly just hover close to each other and try to bump and see if we can keep flying.

Ah yeh, I wouldn't suspect it would hold up well on combat.. The foam is too soft and the airframe is too.. floppy..
