Build Log
***3DMON'S Full Fuse F-22***

Hey everybody. I have finished testing my F-22 design and I'm very happy with it.
I used my Phlatprinter to cut out all the parts.
This F-22 was inspired from all the profile prop in the slot planes out there, but I wanted to have a full fuselage. I have rudders on mine and it can do some cool maneuvers because of them. Some of the high alpha maneuvers I have spoilerons(both aileron's up about 25 deg's) programmed in to help stable the plane out some. Enough of my yapping here's a vid of some of the stuff it can do.

Kits and free plans are available on my website at www.3DMONDESIGNS.com

The instructions are also at my web site but the 2nd page of this thread also shows the build log.
If anyone decides to build one please show it off here, I'd really like to see them.

Specs:
Wingspan: 25"
Length: 35"
Flying weight: 16 oz's

Power setup:
2200kv parkjet motor with a 6x4 APC prop.
30 amp ESC
3s 1300 mah Lipo
Servos Hitec 55's and 65's

Hey Rusty-Gunn,
Thanks.
Here are a few more pics. I still need to get some paint on and get some in flight pics.
If you wanted build pics, they are in the instructions in the link above and at the start of the 2nd page.

Hey 3d, awesome looking Raptor. The link to the instructions appears to be broken.
Thx.

This is one of my flying buddy's favorite planes, I bet he adds it to his list.

Very nice design, especially the front section!

Regards,
Martin

BTW the standard (non US) paper size is A4...(A5 is half the size of a sheet of A4...)

Very nice 3DMON! It looks nimbal and fast. I've always hated that my SAPAC F-22 didnt have rudder control and is overweight and clumsy to fly.

Thanks for pointing out the paper size. I accidentally put A5 but it was really A4. It is fixed now.

I still need to put some paint on mine, that blue just isn't cutting it.

Got to get ready to maiden my Rufe this weekend, so maybe Sunday I'll get to cutting parts for the Raptor. Thanks

Any chance you have a close up of the bottom, maybe how you did the motor mount, bottom, fuselage, etc?

CG?

I tried to download your link but I think three hours to do so on my pc is a bit more time than I care to give up...lol

You doppler this thing with the 3s, 2200kv and the 6x4 prop?
