Okay, this is a variant of Boxheads Wannabee (Delkan thread http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...=776091&pp=100) variation from GPW's UFO http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=553823 . Box's testing was on wedges, drag tips. My version uses three vertical stabs and elevons. It is a great little flyer and a very quick build. Foame core board, hot glue, and bamboo.

Turborix F1818, 5 g servos, 460 Rhino 2s, vampower rx and a little esc.

These posted plans are with forward swept elevons. Box also did rearward swept elevons. He had some mild flight issues with a circle and wedges but his Delkan (delta) appears to fly great with them.

My version flies so well I thought I would post modified simple plans. I did a doubler by laying a cut circle so that it just cleared the elevons (see bottom pic). Motor mount is epp and the firewall is a peice of credit card. A "tad" down thrust and no side thrust.

I did a nearly 5 minute video tonight with some hands off inverted etc... Only about 20secs was in the flight box.

6 more flights on two batteries. Just a little dirt. No damage, not as hard as it looks.

Putting a heavy battery on top and it liked inverted better than upright. Missed that "recording though"

BTW, $14 or less for the video camera can't be beat especially the size of a keyless entry remote

EBay... Here is a thread... I also have the gumpack camera. I like the pin hole facing down like an old flycam, but it has different software that is harder to operate. Some people take the lipo out, run a servo wire to operate with the plane battery and use an extra channel to click the shutter...

Retrofitted into a PiYak which will of course will diminish the ease of storage, but it gained a rudder and a little more of a traditional plane look. It flies well too.
