Hey Sebastian

Did you stop buying gyros to save up for the quad!

That looks nice for the $$, looks like it might be a problem to go bigger, as the speed controls have some extra wires. Do you have the test unit yet? Have a friend that wants a tri, but with his skill level of building, this may be a better choice.

Can't wait to hear how it works..........

I would try put together the whole thing using stock stuff and do the RTF (Ready To Fly) out of box report first ... then do any improvements later (I do agree on the two bladed approach). That will give an unbiased comparison.

What was the turn-around time from order to receipt?

Always like to see new quads on the scene.

Would also like to know if standard ESC could be used.

I kind of like the look of the three blade props but I'm surprised they choose them due to their performance as well. So how efficient is that one with the tri props stacked on top of each other

Look forward to the detailed build.

How does the price of this one compare to a genuine MK with the same feature set? This one comes in a more, ready to fly, form than the genuine MK does?

I'm assuming programming on this board isn't disabled some how so we can't use it to play with genuino MK source code? If we can upload code to it and it's a clone of the genuine MK hardware, why would they need to discontinue their 500 model already if the board for the genuin MK hasn't changed?

Just curious is all. Thanks for all the info.

If they are going to change version numbers this quick I guess having "Xaircraft" in the title is good enough And thanks for adding that

Some facts:

Xaircraft quads are based on Mikrokopter replica electronics that is supposed to be plug and play with all genuine MK parts, and runs genuine MK software.

The ESC's are I2C bus, the controller will not drive standard ESC's.

The X500-D is out of production already, Mazi is concentrating on development of the X650, he might take up production again after the X650 is launched.

Title changed

Sebastian,
Will the FCB be available by itself? It looks like the X500 has Murata gyros will the X600 have Mems gyros? Cost?
Cheers,
Jim
