I dunno what you guys are talking about... I remembered my converted Fling was kicking butt....

Lee was able to launch it 135ft when we were still new at DLG and get normally 1:15 - 1:40 on average.

Where the hell is that thing George?

Predator d-box wing is top-notch, and better designed and built than Topsky. Topsky is more readily available. Topsky fuselage is virtually indestructable, and survives lawn-darts much better than the Predator. Tails on both planes are planks - better than nothing, but replacing them with a set from Brian Padovini should help a lot. Assembly is required for both - joining wings, mounting tails, etc.

PM me if you're interested in a lightly used d-box high-wing Predator, right-hand throw, rudderless, but with room for a second servo. Flies fine without rudder, but I should state that I've converted all my other planes to rudder over the last months. If you're interested, then I'll need an email address to send pictures.

Currently using an A9, and love it.

I bought a bunch of Eneloops at Costco or Sams Club, & had Batteries Plus build a pack the same size & shape of the original for my 9303 2.4. I can charge them with the wall wart & they last forever. Batteries Plus put on a new matching plug & shrink wrap for under $5 bucks.

So why can't we have either of this location to fly? What a scenic.

Nice. Here's another shot of sailplane heaven.

It's the "Schleudern in San Diego" article, written by Reto Fiolka. Once you learn to read German, you'll find out how Joe Wurts dipped behind a tree line, losing sight of his plane, but kept on flying. He "knew" that there would be a thermal, and of course he was right. Is the guy human, or was he born in a thermal?
