George is on the podium in Sweden at the first ever FAI F3K (DLG) World Championship!
He placed second behind Joe Wurts, who is often cited as "The Master", "He who walks on water", and other glorious things. Joe has been flying sailplanes longer than I've been alive, and has numerous World Class soaring championship titles to his name. He's a good guy, to boot. I'm sure George is excited to be standing shoulder to shoulder with someone of Joe's renown.
Lest we not forget Charlie Morris. Charlie went as a team helper, which is like being a co-pilot. F3K/DLG is very much a team sport, as the information the helper provides the pilot can have a huge effect on the decisions the pilot makes. IDK if the pilot's helper gets named in the record books, but you can be assured he certainly deserves to be.
Way to go, MoBros!!!!
EDIT: DERP DERP DERP.... I thought this was the "regular" CB thread, which is why I explained all that. Obviously unnecessary for this group.
