Sup guys,

Got my 1st feel of true motorless flight today. Was freakin awesome A buddy of mine just bought the Alula from Dream-Flight.com It's actually a side arm launch compared to a DLG but I think i have him talked into putting a CF Peg thru the wing and attaching it to the spar going thru the wing to get more height out of the launches as there's not much to hold onto. We were out chucking that thing til about 10am.... damn it get's hot quick lol. Haven't seen much on this thread so I gotta bring it back to the top somehow Have a good weekend guys.

Greg

It starts that way. The DLG god offers the red pill or the blue pill, and it SEEMS like it's free choice. But once you've hooked a thermal on your own (Cocaine), it's all over.

Welcome to the continuum.

Lol I didn't even catch a thermal and I'm already hooked I got more of a kick out of that dang little glider than I did about flying my powered plane today just catching and throwing it again lol. EDF is kinda the exception, the speed gets my heart pumpin a quite a bit That's besides the point tho

Thanks guys! Just getting up, feeling great about yesterday with the exception of having my v3 self destruct on the launch for the 1:45 in the ladder task. We got the v2 plugged in and flying in time to get the 1:45 but no one else got the 2:00 so we did good. Then they had us refly the round because of a protest from a pilot for reasons I was not able to determine. We did well again in the refly. Conditions today include 14 mph winds all day like yesterday. Yikes!
