Hi Charles,

I bought the same coax with the small connector on each end. If you don't need the full 500mm, you can cut off what you need and still have another antenna from the other half.

I attended high school in Alabama in the mid-60's, and if you screwed up in school, your choices were:

a) Have a note sent to your parents ...

b) Report to the football coach, bend over, and get paddled. He seemed to enjoy this tremendously, and had even drilled 1" holes to let the air out while the paddle compressed your butt.

It hurt a lot, but was better than the pain inflicted by angry parents, which also tended to linger a lot longer. You could always tell a guy had been paddled, myself included, when he asked the teacher if he could stand during class.

No whiny, overprotective parents back then! They knew we'd been paddled by the way we sat down at the dinner table.

Anyone going to be at the bowl tomorrow morning? I'm taking my son to Mesa in the morning and were taking a detour to fly on the way.

Charlie & George - the whole AZ DLG cult wishes you the best of luck and safe travels to Sweden. You've already proven yourself by making it to the worlds, so nothing more to prove and everything from here on out is gravy So relish every second.

One important thing - don't bring anything back from Sweden that takes a syringe to eradicate

Thanks Lee and the rest of the crew!

The weather looked great early this morning but when I just now checked it they are forecasting rain over the weekend and possibly more during the week. This will affect both the weekend 2-day contest and the World Cup contest so we shall see how it goes. At least at the team select contest there was a little lift with all the moisture and wind. Hopefully there will be some in Arboga too.

No, not going to bring home any hebi-gebis!

Yeah - and stay far away from this stuff:

Lye is a caustic compound found in soap, oven cleaner and Drano. Dried cod is soaked in it for up to two weeks before it’s boiled down and served as a Jello-like entree.

Please post as much and as often as you are able to. You have a bunch of guys here wishing you all the best. Go Team USA!
