Thank you Charlie for running the audio playlists, and pausing as needed when things got hectic.

John - we couldn't have run the LCD TV or laptop without that clean AC action.

Thanks Dan and Alvin - you were invaluable handing out cards, entering scores, and verifying. The scoring process went as smooth as glass (from all outward appearances ).

Study The Masters

Study The Masters, Part 1:

Here are a few videosnippets from the Dec 12 DLG contest. Heat 1 only, since I timed the next round, and only those contestants are shown that were close enough, Man, that field is big! No titles and music - don't complain, it's free.

Watch at 480p

DLG 2010-12-12 10x1 Heat 1.m2ts (2 min 54 sec)

Kudos to John for his stage presence - he knew I was filming. Thumbs down to Dave for standing in front of Jim.

The first part is normal speed, and then the clips were cropped and slowed down to 33%. A bit choppy, but hey, it's free!

DLG Elevator Servo

Fellow DLG’ers,

what’s your preferred DLG elevator servo, and why? I see a lot DS285’s being used, but is that based on (bad) experiences with other servos?

Cheers, Charles

285's- they fit, they're light, they're fast, they're precise and center well.

Oh, and what Tim said.
