Update: yesterday I made the exhausts and the Hf antenna. Now I have to wait till I get the plastic screws to mount the wing on the hull.

Any ideas on the colour scheme yet?
Wish my wings turned out this well, what are the weights of the wing and fuselage so far?

HI domll,

sorry that I havn't identified you immidiatly. I followed your thread very close and I wonder why you stopped imm. Now I know . Please don't give up. As I have posted in your thread this small tiny brushed motors are not a good choice. At HC you get a the brushless equipment very cheap. I will write articles for a great german magazine in the next time so I plan to finance my next great project with the remuration. Maybe also a Spruce Goose. It is the fav. of my boys but I never realized it because of the costs of 8 !!! motors and a missing plan.

Allow me one hint, take a look in Peter Angus plans (Sunderland) and use the same construction methode for the Spruce Goose wings

Greetings from vienna

Havn't given up, been looking at foam core wings, decided against as weight/weight, they are nearly but with foam core wing install of the wires etc, not as tidy. Have been looking at the Peters plans for awhile and a few others so confident i can build a better wing. Also come to the same conclusion with the motors, and will be going brushless, just liked to try these little cans and give them a chance

Anyway, back to your build, fast approaching finishing, can't wait to see here dressed

i would go for a white and camo version... isn`t as dark in the air as the all camo planes.

Hi Rudi,

She's looking super Sir.
Go with what you want, it's your build and it will be good no matter what the choice, dark cam on top and white undersides has a good contrast for orientation. anything out over 500ft looks all dark to me anyway.

@ domll, Keep at it mate, So! It's your Sunderland I have admired, good job buddy.

Cheers,
Regards to all, Al
