Yes it is. Ive been reading up on the Icon for about 6 months now. They are pushing to get FAA certification as EXPERIMENTAL and I think its going well.
My boss and I were thinking about going in on one

awesome plane. they had it at oshkosh. last I heard there were 400 some odd orders for it.

is there a way to make it RC from scratch? I've never done something like that but I would be nice if someone skilled would make some plans os a semiscale Icon A5.

The real Skyarrow (robotbirds link) is a very cool aircraft, models a bit pricey otherwise I might snap one up!

You did notice that all the pictures in Icon's website are rendered, didn't you?
The interior cabin views are impressive, they look like the interior of a riser with the dash from a cruch rocket. Totally feasible for the Japanese car industry, but I wonder if this company have the means take it all the way to production... |
