Name That Garden Insect
They're all over some of my tomato plants - which aren't producing much good fruit lately. Not sure if these are the guys ruining the tomatoes, or the guys eating the guys ruining the tomatoes. Either way, they're freaking me out...
They are about an inch long and the do fly...

We have them
I think we call them stink bugs.
Smash one and see.
Wife said they do eat our tomatoes and such.

Maybe stink-bugs is a colloquial name for them? Teh Stink bugs we have here in TX dont have such long legs.
These are leaf-footed bugs. We had a lot of trouble with them on out tomatoes last year - insecticidal soap got rid of them very well.

Insecticidal soaps have negative reviews with this insect.
Find a food crop approved product labeled for piercing sucking insects, it may not be spelled out as stink bugs or leaf footed plant bugs on the label.
MAKE SURE you read the label thoroughly and adhere to any harvest intervals, PPE requirements, restricted entry intervals or other precautions.
