Cool
Stobel Rocks!!!

After a year flying the Blaster 2, it was great.... But I try so hard and could not break the barrier on the launch height, 145-155ft. Not any more.... Thanks to RcGeorge I went ahead and pick up a Stobel v2 from him, although it cost a arm and a leg. It paid off!

Blaster 2 - 11.5oz

Stobel v2 - 9.5oz

Holy molly....
- a what I call girl throw give me 120ft,
- a decent throw give me 135ft
- a good throw give me 150
- a hard throw give me 165ft
- a suicide throw (almost drop the radio, almost fall on my face + a lot of wind give me??? Hopefully I didn't throw into a thermal, but not sure if it would matter because the plane was in vertical position all the way up.

The next hardest throw I launch was 180, after that, just couldn't even stand straight up...

But this thing fly great, don't know how to describe it.... 2+mins in dead air is in my reach... I am happy

The Blaster crew is becoming a Stobel2 crew, eh? Cool. Congrats! Looks good. Those are great launches.
We're all gonna see you at the Socal Cup, right???

Thanks Jun. Your comment actually help my launch quite a bit, I slow down the spin a bit so I can allow myself to remember to fully plant the left foot before I pull through at the end...

Unfortunately I can not make it to Socal this weekend . But I do believe George and Charlie are going (so watch out!) That CptSnoopy has been practicing hard!

We will have some real launch video on the Stobel later on this week...

Sorry, but I'm sticking with Blasters I just can't layout the coin required for a Stobel. I've thrown one of Georges, and heck ya, it goes up like no tomorrow (scared me the first time).

So until someone comes up with lower costing ship that has Stobel qualities, some of us are sticking with Blasters

You're right, I sure miss your Vandal.

That stobel sure looks nice *repeats to self* I have enough DLG's already! *repeats to self*

I'd imagine with the spreadtow D-box, disser and the fixed horizontal stab it would be rigid as anything, mmmm rigidity.
