Has anyone ever heard of this kit?

I am building an ARF kit for my brother and I was just looking for it on the net, but I can't find anything on it. I would like to know if it is available from anywhere because, aside from about the worst instructions i have ever seen, it is a real nice looking kit.

It is a Cessna C-37 Airmaster manufactured by Model Craft. It says it is exclusively mfg. for M.D. Planes Incorp.

I have always really liked old Cessnas, and the quality of this model seems to be real good. I don't really know if it is high quality compared to other ARFs out there now because I mostly fly foamies. If I can find another of this kit, I would like to get one for myself.

If anyone is familier with this model, I would like to know how well it flies. My brother is a COMPLETE novice at R/C aircraft. This will be his first airplane. He wants his own airplane to learn on so if he crashes it, he is not destroying one of my planes. I think this Cessna would make a good first plane, but I don't know for sure. I learned on a Superstar 40 nitro plane, but since then, about all I fly is electric parkflyers.

The specs are:

Span: 1390 mm (54.7 in.)
Length: 1040 mm (40.9 in.)
Aera: 35.1 dm2 (544 sq. in.)
Weight: 2000-2200 g (4.4 - 4.8 lb.)

This one is powered by an Ofna .45 engine. What would probably be the best fuel to use in it? 10-15% nitro?

If anyone has any info on this, let me know.

This plane was on a CRASH sale by Hobby Lobby some time ago. Search the electric scale planes forum. I have one and will power it with a .25 or .35 OS.

This is not a trainer; it has a higher wing loading, touchy on the ground, small ailerons and probably a terrible glide. Buy your brother a $99 trainer from tower; DON'T mess up this one.
