Possible 2010 RC Boat Show

Hi to everyone

I was wondering how many people would be interested in holding a mix RC Boat model show in 2010.

The reason for this is that right now there is a possibility of this coming true research is being complete right now to see if this is at all feasible, Right now we are researching
the lake at the Mariners Museum.

Just think Submarines, Battleships, Destroyers’, Tug Boats, Ferries, Pleasure Craft all different types of RC ships all on display for you to see.

Well it is up to you, if you would like to see an event like this happen please let us know how you feel.

That would be a very interesting place to hold a gathering. Steve Lund & Bill Hathaway had their ironclads on the lake for the Monitor Center's grand opening March '07.

You can count me in IF if its summer/fall next year. Couldn't think of a better place for a maritime enthusiast to kill a few hours.

Count me in too. I would love to see this happen. The Elite fleet is not far and would likely participate. The North Carolina Mid Atlantic fleet (1/96 scale warships- no shooting BBs) would also attend. http://www.wmunderway.8m.com/cgi/yab...num=1252790177

Hi

If this event gets off the ground every aspect of RC Boat modeling would be great

I would love to attend and display my foolish attempts at "stand way off" boat building.

I'll load the trailer. How many boats should I bring. Pick a number between 1 and 107. Take a look at some I like the unusual. How about a 1967 1/8 scale Amphicar, or a 1/4 Decavitator ( MITs man powered record holder ).
www.jsgill.net has a few of my 107 boats.
The Mariners museum is a great place to spend a few days.
