Definately meant 3615. I think the gr45 was about 195 grams and it pulled the 57 around extremely well. I would prefer to keep the plane light rather than a little heavier with insane power. 4315 yada yada yada.

So would you all recommend the 4315-714 from Motrofly with a Ice 100 ESC and a 15x7 XOAR? That is what I'm running on my 59" slick, so I thought it would work well on this one too.

It is an awesome combo on the 59" slick - I can vouch for that. The motrofly motor is super smooth, lightweight, powerful and runs cool.

Just took advantage of the black Friday sale and ordered the 57'' extra. All I have left to buy for it is some HS-7245mg digital HV servos and some servo extensions. Is there any certian type of extension I need for the HV servos?

I'd use heavy gauge extensions. 20 awg

One final question, for those running the 4315-714kv what size spacers did you use and what did you make them out of? I am thinking about making them out of wooden dowel rod.

I read many pages of this forum but I am still confused as to what to use on my extra 57”. I bought mine used some time ago and just realized that the motor is defective making funny noises and stops periodically, during the maiden flight; but I landed without trouble. 5s setup works best for me and now is the best time to upgrade from this defective Hyperion 4s to 5s. I am thinking lightened DM4315-500 kv motrofly (4315 seems to be the only motrofly that is recommended to be used with 5s in 3d category) with the ICE 100 Lite. What do you recommend? I know some recommended DM3620 750kv in this forum in the past but that’s not really for 5s per their website http://www.subsonicplanes.com/Motrolfly_Motors.html. Also, per their website, I think that 3620 is not recommended for hard 3d and 3625 is not recommended for 3d at all. I will be using 5s 3300 g6pro TP which is lighter than many other--expensive though; with 15x8 which is the recommended one with DM4315-500 kv motrofly for 5s. Can you please let me know what you think and recommend for 5s setup? Am I totally misunderstanding everything?? By the way, I know it will be a heavy setup with a ton of power.

Who Black Friday sale has 3DHS plane ? I was going to buy a 57" from ADC but I think I'll wait till Cyber monday to see if anything popups up unless you guys know something I don't
