I'm running my Extra 330SC on 5s and the throttle curve was necessary in order to be able to control the plane past half throttle.

Other than setting the pitch curve to 0, I can't think of anything else that would need to be changed. If anyone thinks of something, let me know!

I'm using that exact same ESC so hopefully we can figure it out. This plane sure will scream with a 15x7 prop though won't it???

But like you I feel like I've got a big gap in throttle response below mid stick... But that was with the ESC set to auto end points. So we'll see. I'll let you know what I think once I get to fly again - hopefully in the next day or so.

Did the fixed endpoints help, I have this same issue on my ef 60" with motrolfly and castle ice 100, just re-programmed the esc but won't be able to test until Sunday

I haven't been able to fly it again after doing the fixed end points. Hopefully I can test it tomorrow. I'll post my thoughts tomorrow. But if I'm not 100% satisfied then I'll just setup a throttle curve.

Need some help guys. I am about to purchase batteries for this plane and need advice on which ones. Looking at gens ace 4s 25c 3800 and 4000. I like a floatier plane but I am also looking at a 72 inch next spring that these batteries need to work in also. Any ideas?

Which 72" plane next spring? You could run your 4s batteries in series for 8s on your 72" plane.

The Gens ACE batteries seem to have a true C rating (I've been pleased with my 25C Gens ACE batteries), but you might want to consider 30C rated and higher batteries for long run time with cooler batteries when used in your 72" plane.
