15X7 Xoar. Both planes have tremendous power, and yes, very pleased.

The reaper is a 800kv and the 4315 is only a 714kv. I had both at 800kv and the 4315 blew the reaper away in performance. They are about equal in power now that I lowered my kv to 714. The 4315 is also a lighter motor

Ok. Found my motor, prop and batteries! Now I need to find the best servos for this plane. Should I go with the 5245's or something else?

Actually, while Reapers may have been listed at 800KV, the three spares I have are..781KV, 786KV, and 796KV (as verified by Aeromodel/Hacker Brushless), of course this is within the "range" normally considered 800KV (as very few motors are perfectly at the KV listed.).

is everyone using the stock EZ connectors on the servo side? I'm always a little worried about them unscrewing in flight, especially on elevator.

After flying my 57" 330SC for well over one year, I had an crash that took the 330 out. It sure was a great flying 3-D Aircraft.

I want to replace it with another 57" 330SC or the 58" 3DHS Edge. Anyone that has flown both models, I would like to hear had the Edge felt compared to 330SC.

I'm sure they are fine, but I felt the same way. Here's what I did:

1. Get a separate pack of Du-Bro 2-56 ball links.

2. Thread a screw or threaded rod into the new ball links and out again to form threads in them.

3. Trim the supplied pushrods a little bit so when the unthreaded portion of the pushrod is bottomed out in your new ball link and the other supplied ball link is threaded halfway onto the pushrod, the pushrod length is correct.

4. Crimp the unthreaded portion of the supplied pushrods where they will be inside of the new ball links a little bit in a few places with some wire cutters to give them a little texture, like re-bar.

5. Glue the new ball links onto the newly crimped pushrods with epoxy. The threads in the ball links and the crimp marks on the pushrod will engage with the epoxy and provide a solid joint.

That's what I did on mine and it's been fine for thousands of flights.

thanks, Cody. I think i'll do that. I've lost a plane before when the pushrods came loose from the elevator servo and i don't want a repeat of that with the 57

I got mine today and it looks awesome. The red color scheme is even more impressive in person! I took it out of the box and put the wings on just to get a general feel for how it looks. Me likey!!

Now I just need to start buying my components. This is the biggest plane I've had so far. Next closest is the 51" Slick. Can't wait to get it in the air!
