OMG (can I still say that), this plane rips. I had a perm-a-grim out at the field. Blows away the old reaper slush box RIP (good motor, just slow throttle response). Plenty of power and I was able to use much more of the sky. Motor was ice cold pack after pack. I highly recommend this setup.
here's one for yous guys.

I have run the Motrolfly 3620-750 on my old one with 4s 4000 Gensace packs. 100amp Ice Lite ESC, Xoar 15x7 and had tons of power. It seemed a bit more sporty with a 15x8, but either prop was great. I didn't care as much for the 15x6 prop.
I am hoping to pick up a 4315 for my 60" Edge this week once I figure out which one I want to use on 6s.

I'm looking for a good floaty 3D setup that still has loads of punch out power. I love my 51" Slick setup with a Hacker A30-12XL on a 15x6 prop with 4s 2500's.

I recommend using 6s 2200 with motrolfly 4315 or 3620. Plenty of power and super floaty. I have flown 4s and 6s. 6s definitly wins for power and flight times. 7:30 is no problem for a hard 3D flight with 35-40% capacity left and comes down cool after back to back flights.

4315 and what ever kv you need for your battery choice. The 4315 is more efficient than the 3620.

Shipped my two 225MG's off to Hitec USPS First Class. They should have them by Thurs. That means I just might have them back by next Saturday if they stick to the pace of my last turnaround.

So if I happen to have a boatload of 4s 2500 and 2650's sitting around then I'd be better served to use the 4315-714 I suppose?

What is the average all-up weight of the 57" Extra when built (with 4s) by the way?

Aren't those a bit small for a plane this size? I am using 4000mAH packs and get about 6-6.5 minutes..

prob have to run those in parallel to achieve over 3.5-4min of flight.

So if I look at the specs of the motrofly 4315-714 it say to use 4s batteries. But I guess what you're saying is I'd need at least something in the 4000mAh size to get decent flight times? What motor are you using?

Reaper GR-60 in my 57" Extra....but 4315-714 in my 59" Slick, and I use the same packs in both planes... Both have about the same power with same props etc..

15x7 or 15x8? So I'll get some 4s 4000 batteries. I assume you're very pleased with this setup?
