Art tech F-18 or Exceed rc F-18?

I'm searching for a new EDF, and I am stuck on 2 planes I am willing to buy. Should I get the ARF Art tech F-18 or the Kit Exceed Rc F-18? Any plus or minuses for both of these planes?

Just wanting to know

I used to have the arttech one with retracts which crashed it due to pilot error, currently working on exceed Rc to put retracts and add rudder, these edfs love rudder to land in the wind.
The arttech was a very nice floater and smaller than exceed Rc, it was more of a parkflyer. However to my eyes it wasn't very scale looking.
The exceed is way more scLe, bigger and yet haven't flown it.

i have had several jets by each company that you mention. in general, i was happier with the starmax/exceed jets over the art-tech ones. art-tech makes awesome prop planes, but i have been a bit disapointed with their jets. just mho.

I agree with you pilots Exceed RC F-18 is much bigger, scale, and faster....Did I mention it is a 70MM. yep,. Art-tech is a 64MM.

I got 3 Exceed RC F-18...I just finish putting retracts on the blue angels....Not pretty good looking due to foam cutting, but it got retracts now...Got to fly her and see the difference...

I would go with the 70mm F/A-18. I have the Exceed and love it, but if I was in the market for one right now I would look at version 2 from here:
The new version looks like it has better landing gear, comes with pilot, missles, bombs, and it has rudders. Pre-order discount right now.......I'm sure it will be in stock before the Exceed, they are always out of stock it seems.

I wonder why they put in a 2350kv motor. Even on 4S that's going to be pretty weak. 3000-3200kv would be a much better performer and still be under 60amps. I've got the Blue Angel one from Nitroplanes. It's the kit version and is only $89. I think you could outfit it with MUCH better equipment for the same price as the one from Bananahobby.
