I have the Nitro Planes F-35 but know nothing of the BH F-35. Quality is excellent. Performance is excellent for a Rx ready plane. Skill level - Its a bit twitchy because its so small but aside from that i wouldnt be scared to tell a beginner to give it a go. An F-35 is a very forgiving airframe, it will stall and fall flat rather than tipping a wing or dropping the nose.
Any F-35 with the same size fan running a 1300mah lipo is probably gonna have about the same performance as stock.

The BH model I see on their site is made by freewing.
That's a challenging model to fly. There is no landing gear, it's a hand launch only. here's a thread regarding that model: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=890957
I really wouldn't recommend it for a beginner.
Starmax makes the F-35 that Nitroplanes carries. It has landing gear and is more forgiving.

Star Max F-35 C/G ??
Is the center of gravity actually 480mm from the nose back ?? Front or Rear Hatch ?? I was going to try the rear hatch for I see other guys doing it, it just seems to nose heavy if you use the front hatch ?? Any input will help !! Thanx !!
