What is a good filler for fan fold foam? Something for small dents, mismatched joints and small gaps. Something easily sandable. Gorilla glue works, but is harder than the foam and doesn't ever match quite right. This question has probably been asked a million times, but my computer is way to slow for searching.

light weight spackle is what we all use and love. you can thin it with water so you can brush it on or use it as is.

The white Gorilla Glue dries white, dries faster, and is easier to carve or sand. I fill gaps with it, cover the gap with masking tape until the glue dries, and when you peel the tape away you don't have "oozes" of glue everywhere. Then you can go back in with lightweight spackle to touch it up if necessary.

Red Devil brand "onetime" light weight spackle. Comes in a small white plastic container. Weighs nothing, goes on quick, dries relatively fast, sands super easy, fills scratches, dents, holes, etc. Shelf life is great as long as you keep the lid on tight. You can also use it to effectively fill the million small nail holes that your wife or girlfriend puts in the walls because she can't leave anything in one place for more than a week.

whats this you say? use it for its intended purpose?

I like the Elmers Lite Spakle. Shelf life is forever. If it dries out, just crumble, add water, stir untill like new. Also, after you make a fillet or machine gun blister or rocker arm cover, you can hit it with foam safe C/A and it hardens almost instantly. And still sand nicely.
