Jet Turbine ECU, starter, solenoid ect.

Hi,
I am thinking about building my own turbine engine ( i have a small machine shop ). where do you go about buying all the other items needed for a RC turbine (ECU, Starter, solenoids, propane bottle, ect) that are good quality. i know about JetJoe and they sell the ECU ect but from what i have read they are crap.

Thanks
Mike

Cheap yes - crap not necessarily. I think you'll find that JJ's stuff is basically copies of other things out there.

i guess why i have come to that conclusion is you read all the threads about the JJ turbines not starting or not running correctly and every time it has been a bad ECU. thats why i came to that.

thanks
Mike

Flown it?

Nah - I haven't got a plane yet. That's what I'm building - the whole point of this exercise. And yes, it's still powering the Workmate. Well... trying to push it over more likely...
