The optical and magnetic sensors, as well as the wired sensor can be sensitive to the speed controls pulse rate. I suspect that additional noise from a BEC adds to the problem. I wish that Spectrum would release the current sensor, as it might be a more indicative sensor.

Turnigy AerodriveXp SK 3548-970/850W

Does anyone know the pole count for the Turnigy AerodriveXp SK 3548-970/850W motor?

Also, if anyone knows the turns, stator diameter, wire diameter, stator height, and termination type (Y or D) for this motor, I will enter it in DriveCalc.

Thanks ;-)

Trinity D3.5 need pole count

I need to know what to set the pole count for these brushless inrunners on my car. Using the logger for a chassis dyno.
Thanks,
Mark

Here is a list of motors I'd saved in my EagleTree files.

Cheers, Phil

P.S. I don't have any E-flite motors on hand, but are they really 12-pole motors? The "Slotted 12-pole" description sounds like stator arms.. not magnet poles (is 14 correct?).

Here they do say 14-pole for the E-flite Power 25: http://www.e-fliterc.com/Products/De...odID=EFLM4025A

No, the pole count is the number of magnets around the inside of the can/outer skin.
