Foam Warbird Conversions! formerly Bashing foam Warbirds.

I wanted to start this thread to display foam planes that have been bashed into a Warbird!

I'm also looking for suggestions for a good name for this thread!

I welcome all conversions, but they must be bashed from a foam plane, and this can be Parkzone, GWS, Multiplex, etc...
They can also represent any era Warbird from WWI to the present!

I will try to keep a gallery going on the first page of this thread, and also include links if there is/was a build thread!

I'll start with a few that I know of:

My PZ T-28 into a F8F build:

I hope Greenseaships doesn't mind me posting his Hellcat from a Pz T-28:

I'm also converting the new Pz P-51 into a P-82b Twin Mustang:

That Hellcat you see in the second pic is no more. Here is the new Mk. 2 Parkzone Hellcat in detail.

I'm looking forward to this new one, should make some fun conversions, they made a Twin jet version based on the ME 262!

Ki-61 Tony from GWS Formosa 1

I did this mod on a veteran Formosa that had some damage behind the canopy. Almost all of the wing and tail have had some sort of massaging to get it to look like a Ki-61. The colors are airbrushed in a 1945 Burma scheme (took ages to get the weird camo just right!).
AUW 21oz, 230W Heads Up RC outrunner and 1550 Rhino 3s.

It's not quite the lightweight pattern ship it started out to be......but boy does it draw attention!

hehe

Wrench, Nice Tony, that's another cool conversion!

I remember a thread a while back by a guy named Barmonkey, I think, anyway the conversion was a E-flite Sea Fury into a Tempest, I'll try and dig that one up.

Besides, there's no CAMO and no GUNS or BOMBS!
But I will leave it on here as an example of the crazy concept planes we can make!

T-28 is a military plane, and therefore a warbird. The T-228 is a modification of the T-28. Therefore, it belongs in the bashing thread
