Don't believe the hype. These Yanks are dirty, dirty dogs. Oh they sound nice enough, but turn you back for a second, and these guys will knock your wing out of the sky so fast, and then they jump up and down saying Yippie.... Did you see that?????

But in answer to your question I would take another shirt if you brought them.

Ha ha. I dont know about the "yippie" thing, but I will giggle a little. Maybe even out loud, but I dont think there will be any "yippies" I think I did hit you at the point within 10 seconds...and then showing great team work, I think it was Cliff that put you to the ground.

I didn't have a problem with all the carnage that we wreaked on Jon's poor little PINK plane. In fact, it was kinda fun. But the part I couldn't stand was when Jon curled up into the fetal position and starting bawling.

I am in. I actually canceled a trip so I could make the 10th. It better be on and we better have the Yanks come down for another whipping.

I'm definitely in on the 10th. Even if the sissie Yanks decide they can't make it, we haven't had a full-sized combat session for a while, so I say we keep the event on anyway and at the very least get a good southern turn-out.

"Who needs enemies when you've got friends like these?" is the phrase that comes to mind.

I'm still in for October 10th. Seems like each War is better than the last one. It's great to fly with such a big group.

Is the plan to still have the war start @ 10? I'd have better luck in making it if we started in the afternoon and went into the night flying.

I understand if the sissie rebel squadron thinks it's too cold on October for night flying. The northerners are used to the cold.

3 CHEERS for a PM War. I think a 5:00 start time would be great. What time is sunset on the 10th?? Are we after the time change? I have lights now and I need to get the old Slow Stick of Love lit up. Or the Beast. Or the Cularis.

Sun sets @ 6:54 on the 10th.

A fun tidbit is Oct 10th is right around the time that the day length changes the most each day as it sits between the summer and winter solistice.

Wow. 10 seems too late for morning flying, and 5 seems too late for evening flying. I mean, if we're only gonna fly in the evening, we should start earlier to make sure we have enough time before the sun sets.

Actually, if I had my way we'd start Friday evening at 4 or 5, fly in daylight for an hour or two, do a BBQ at dusk, then night fly. Then do our big combat session Saturday morning at 9 a.m. See if the sod farm would let a few people just sleep over on the lawn in tents or trailers.

Agreed with Todd on 5 being too late. I was thinking 3 or 4. A two day event would probably not work for most of us that are traveling from the North.
