Just curious what motor/prop/battery you are using.

Used to look at data from my ICE 80 HV, but it's always ~10 - 15 A higher than what I measure.

I think I see the same thing, at least comparing the watts and amps to my watts up meter on the ground. Which I thought in the air it was supposed less than a static ground test.

I have that syndrome too. If it's not pretty, I don't want to fly it anymore. Funny, I love playing ugly, beat up guitars but I like my planes clean.

I can't play ugly beat up guitars, that's why I build my own, if they get beat up, I just re-finish them.....

hehe, I guess this doesn't apply to your Strykers and that SFO thing!!

Funny, 100' up I can't see that little tear in the wing!

You ought to give me that Osirus fuse and I'll fix it for you. It'll be a spare that's flyable! AND it'll match the rest of your plane!! hehe

It's missing wood parts, I will buy the balsa if you want to fix it. that would be cool.

You bet, look at what broke, note size, etc of the stringers, then go to Randy's and buy some of the 3' pieces, then get some ply in various sizes(note the largest thickness in the plane, don't need any larger). A little epoxy and some GG. I think I have some thin CA.

Shooting you a PM.

The build is coming along on my 70. I'll finish up the engine mounting, throttle linkage and plumbing tonight and maybe fire up the DLE-30 for the first time. Servos get here Wednesday so I should be able to maiden it on Saturday.

Rob

I'm going to start trying to take mine apart this evening. I looked at the puzzle pieces and right now, I have bunch of extra pieces.

There are several that I don't yet know where they go. I'm hoping it will make more sense once I start dissasembling what I have on the plane.

syringe filled with acetone is ready to go.

Those using Motorlfly 4325..

How are you fitting the motor to the bolt pattern???

Is there a mount that works with these motors?

Thanks

You did get an "X" mount with yours didn't you?? You should have... if you did not receive one, co tact Ken at Motrofly, and I'm sure he will take care of you...

If so, just rotate the motor X mount 45 degrees on the firewall and re-drill. Make sure you keep it centered on the center marks. This is shown on page 14 of the manual. I don't remember if the blind-nuts were pre-installed, but if so, just screw a bolt part way in, and then tap the bolt to tap the blind-nuts out. and install into the new holes.
