Hi can anyone tell me difference between slick 6S 5000mah motrolfly 4325 versus same pack cnfiguration on a Hacker A50 12L?
Interested in upgrading to additional trust not sure which is better 3D option.

others can speak more authoritatively, but the Hacker is heavier, and will need a bigger prop. The Hacker is 348kv vs. the Motrolfly at 380. The Motrolfly is very comfortable with a 19x10 prop where I think the Hacker guys are running a 20x10, or mejzlik 20x11.
The Motrolfly weighs in at around 14.5oz, the Hacker is just under 18 according to their specs. I've never flown the Hacker, but I own the Motrolfly and love it.

i have flown both. i would recommend the motrolfly. i personally have the hacker a50-12L and am swinging the mejzlik 20x11e prop, but the xoar 20x10e prop is what the majority are using as it is cheaper. The motor is a tad heavier, but the plane will definitely not feel the weight, plus you get to put your pack further back which is always a good thing. the nice thing about the motrolfly is the size prop, i believe the 19x10 is the perfect prop for the 70 slick as the 20x10 gives great performance but torques A LOT, and the 18x10 is just not big enough since the fuse is SO huge. of course this is all subjective opinion

I'm running the Motrolfly and I'm extremely happy with it. Mine is a custom wind for an 8s setup, so it's a little different. It's a good motor though. I'm pulling 2500 watts on a 19x8 and it stays very cool.

Motrolfly ROCKS!!! Ken Young at Subsonic Planes is good as they get too..

Having said that hacker makes good stuff too.Are they sporting bolt on prop adapters yet or still got the collets? That is about the only complaint I have with hacker,but never had a prop come off yet tho..slide out a little and raise cain,but not come off.

both my larger hackers came with collet and bolt on.

My A60 16L has been very durable,but wish it were an 18L..

Thx Guys! It seems a tight situation when it comes to trust on both these motors. Guess the question now is only which of the two options puts less strain on the packs for longevity?

Are the motor mount bolts same for both? I already have a Hacker A50 16S mounted so thats also a consideration if need to modify the motor mount holes.

i believe the a50-16s and 12L have the same bolting pattern as the can diameters are the same, the 12L is just longer (hence the "L" for long). my 12L bolted on the the pre-installed blind nuts on the 70 slick, and dont quote me on it, but i think the motrolflys do as well.

as for which puts less strain, i wouldnt say one over the other. regardless you will be running around the 90 amp mark and around 2100 watts or so. like i said earlier, i would recommend the motrolfly as you can swing a 19x10 which i think is ideal, and Ken at subsonic is the best guy on earth to deal with. i would never hesitate to buy anything from him as he is by far the best guy i have ever dealt with in the motor business

yea mine does too,and It broke the snap ring once,and I got it back together and just dont tighten the prop nut with a pull bar now.
