ah amps are around 110-120 and watts were around 4000-4600.if i remember correctly.This was on new,fresh packs when i measured it last.Probly settled it down some now the packs getttin some use on them.

oh yes 12s.this setup was in my 87 shp and now resides in my 89 aj slick..

Flew my repaired Slick today and I didn't crash it! Got 4 flights each on the Slick and 57" SC! Didn't get any video today, but there is the video from my maiden flight!

Guys - As some of you have already seen, we're launching our new 3DHS website today. Although we have flipped the switch to change from new to old websites, this change is not instant, and different users in different regions will see the change at different times in the next 24-36 hours.

The new website has a completely new e-commerce system, so you will have to create a new account.

The new website has lots of new features like reward points and more that we'll be explaining and activating in the weeks to come, so you definitely will want to create an account on the new 3DHS website.

Something happen to your motor?

It might be nice to see some pictures of your plane's motor installation and battery placement. The original plane was set up for a Hacker 50-16S at 13.90 ozs. on 6S. At this point the motor mount has been shortened to accommodate the large 50-12L motor that weighs in at 17.95 ozs. and also runs on 6S. You have added around 18 ozs. to the nose of the plane and are flying 8S 4000's. Can you move the batteries back far enough to balance the plane within specs?

nope!not a thing.I had the one of the first ones and have been testing it for months.It was time for me to send it back in for eval.I had bookooodles of flights on it with several different props on it.I just missed flying my slick.This was the ONLY motor out of several other manufacturers I flew on my slick that didnt fry.Ken at Subsonic planes is always improving his motors as technology allows,just like 3dhs.He had come up with some changes to make the motors even more bulletproof and wanted to eval this one,(actually there were a couple testers that went back for eval)and i am just happy to get to thrash em some more.He only has a couple left until september so get one while they are there.

Hopefully I can get a couple of pictures posted in the next couple of days. Darn work is getting in the way!

I have a version 1 of the Slick, with the longer motorbox, but another Addict gave me a tip about mounting the motor with the x-mount behind the firewall. Worked great!

Since the battery tray is so long on the Slick, I've had no issues with getting the batteries far enough back to balance. In fact I could move them back even farther!

I will also weigh my packs, I believe they weigh about the same as a 5S 5000mah pack.
