45s will work just fine. I run them on my 89 slick as well as my 71.

IIRC, a guy did a test on the 45a pp's and got the housing to melt at around 200-250 amps. crimp sleeve was still fine, but the housing got a little too hot

I was gonna say after the priority shipping and the cost of the CF you might be loosing money. I do appreciate the CF reinforcement Steve.

QSL on the 45amp APP's. I use them on all of my electrics, even in an electrified 103" Extra.

Thanks my friend....And yes....Priority shipping $5.60....a sheet of carbon fiber that I can get about 14 pieces out of costs me $18.00, and it takes me about an hour to make a batch, plus the wear on my band saw blade and brad point drill bits...yeah...I'm just raking in the cash hand over fist......

Seems that way, found this out after I posted. Slightly more torque and price.

I believe the 45 amp rating is at 120 volts or something like that. I know I read that somewhere, or it could have been 110 volts, whatever household current is I guess.

Happy to see the "Put me on the waiting list" button that 3DHS added to the website a few months back works. After 6 months of waiting 71" Orange Sick rudders are back in stock. Although now that I check after my order they are listed as out of stock again... Perhaps I just grabbed the last one?
