Hey everyone what are you using for your batt/charger connectors? I run deans on everything (up to 4s) but I've never run a high power system like this. Would I be safer with the EC5 or EC3? Thoughts? Thanks!

Dean's are probably fine.

I've been using the EC5 connectors for the last 18 months, no problems at all. The one thing I like about them is that I can make the solder joint with the wire/connectors out of the blue plastic housing. Usually I do the positive lead first and then insert it into the housing. This helps insure that I don't short the leads together.

i like APP's easy peezy. Deans will handle the voltage too. Ec3's will probly be ok too. Just whatever you are comfy with.
i can put a set of power poles on in the time it takes for the solder gun to get hot

+1. Makes them easy to solder, and the ec'5 take up to 10 gauge wire easily.

heh.. im on holiday so dont really have anything to do... took my slick out in a yard just to fool around and to check does gt33 even work after 6 months of standing...and as i remember, pain in the rear to start for first time, but after that starts from first flip... but now while fooling around, got it do die 2x on the ground.. all the time while goosing throttle... and idle seemed unreally high... when plane not moving, idle seemed like on the brink of dying.... guess tomorrow i will have to bug neighbours some more and go trough proper tune-up procedure!

some fuselage bag would be realllly nice but i dont really want to spend so much money for adc-one....

So I'm going to upgrade the servos on my 71" Slick. It currently had 985's in there and I'm trying to decide between the 7954SH's and the 7955TG's. I don't really understand why someone would go with the 7955TG's as they appear to be slightly slower than the 7954SH's AND the 7954SH's have more torque (when going high voltage).

So I'm guessing that I'm missing a big benefit here. Am I? What servos would you recommend me upgrading to?
