I'd say go with the one you think looks best. I really like my 74. But there was just something special about my orange 71. I may just have to get an orange 51 to satisfy the fix.

Thank you Steve! I will try these settings. Are you sure about PWM 12KHZ? Isn't recommended 8Khz?

Thanks.

So if you had a 47" SHP and 57" Extra would you sell both to fund a 71? I would be down to a 71 Slick and 48" EPP Extra foamy. Wish I could keep them all but you know how it is.

Don't fly the SHP much anymore but have been loving the Extra.

Sell the 47" SHP and start saving up for the 71" Slick. Keep those 57 inches of greatness.

Browsing the threads here - thinking of this setup: Motrofly 5320-300kv motor, 8sx4000 battery set, 19x8E XOAR prop, Ice 100 ESC and separate BEC.

Is this a good combo? What would be better?

Also any recommendations for somewhat economical servos?

Cheers,
Doc

Awesome combo!

For servos the savox 1258tg's are very nice!

Unfortunately I always find myself selling or trading up. While the 57 would be sweet to keep, it also will generate the most funds to get you that much closer to a 71!! The choice is all yours!

Freakin awesome setup. I love mine. Savoxs posted above will probablely be your best bet for an inexpensive digital servo.

57" Extra is a little slice of heaven......great flying plane! And while the 71" Slick is also a great plane, there are times when taking a larger plane somewhere just doesn't work out...

Thanks guys. Gonna throw the SHP in the classifieds to fund a motor from losi. I'll hold on to the 57 for now. I think the 71 will be my go to the field to fly plane and the EPP Extra can be my fly anywhere ok to crash plane. If I can get my 50cc Pilot Extra sold for a good price I'll be set.

3 kids and one one the way... Hobby funds are not what they once were

Would this setup also be a good choice for the 74" Edge? All I have so far is the plane, raising funds for motor, esc, and servos.
