the 5320 is heavier, but i dont know how much lightening was done to it. talk to losi about it, he is extremely knowledgable. the 5320 is also more expensive new than the 4325

One thought though....is that my Slick came out nose heave on 6S and I had to put the rudder servo in the tail. And it seems funny, that some Slicks are coming out nose heavy, some balancing "normal", with basically the same power systems. If going with 8S, I would suggest keeping the battery size down a little to compensate for possible nose heaviness..

I had the 4325 and went up to the 5320. Much better. You get 500 more rpms out of the 5320 300kv than the 4325 310kv with less input watts too. It's that much more efficient. It weights 20ozs auw ( x mount, nut, and prop washer) its very powerful and always cool even in 100*f ambient temps. I run a 19x8 prop pulling 2960watts peak with a 7860rpm at 2700watts. 22pounds of thrust too.
Turnerm is useing this motor too. He got it after seeing mine fly.

I'll replace it with something. I'm trying to decide between a 71" Slick, a 72" Extra or a 74" Edge.

I've always been told that when you can't decide... Get'em all!

Does sound like a tough choice. I've heard that all three options you're looking at fly very well.

I love the way the 57" Extra flies so that's what got me looking at the 72" Extra. And then STEVE just HAD to pollute my brain with the thought of a 74" Edge.

So now I'm stuck!!

I say go with the 74" edge as well. If I bought another 30cc plane, it would probably be the 74" edge.
