FWIW i loved my 4325 and never had any temp issues. awesome setup for the 71 slick, the 5320 is significantly heavier.

Yeah l was heating up the 4325 in the summer even at 2400watts.
Now the 4325 310kv had around 500 less rpms pushing a 19x8 prop than the 5320 300kv motor. Plus the 5320 pulled less amps doing so. Its a few ounces heavier (3ozs auw if l remember correctly) but its so much more efficient at the higher power levels(thus the cooler motor temps) l'm very happy l upgraded to the bigger motor.
With all that said l would LOVE to try out the 4330 to see how it compares

I'm running the 4325-280kv with a 19x10 Xoar on 8S. I've got less than 10 flights on her so far. Still getting the hang of her but less punch than my 59".

I'm loving the heck out of my 5320-300 setup!! Awesome power and comes down cool as a cucumber!

Big G here. I have 4 3DHS planes so far. My buddy has a 71" Slick and let me fly it this summer. Of course I had to get one. It came by UPS today. Stumbled on this form and have been reading these posts for the last few nights. Does anyone use an arm safe or some other method to arest the spark on their 8s or 10s setups. If so how are you setting that up with the BEC Pro.

Just trying to get things straight in my head before I start putting everything together.

I should be getting a 4330 for my slick as well!

My slick will now also be equipped with a ZTW land power 120a HV opto esc!

Awesome motor... what KV and cell count you running?

With my 4330, I was able to put my rudder servo in the tail like I wanted with the front of my two 6s2600's batteries at the front support for neutral balance.

I dont use a spark arrester on any of my planes.i watch the spark.

It is with a 19x8 and I'm just waiting on a 20x8 since according to Ken I have a little headroom on the output of the 19" for my climate. My 6s 4315 on my 60" made me power hungry I guess.

I have a feeling I am going to like it.

I just ordered some new batteries also.

Though I am going to put the motor on a 72" instead of my 71".

My 71" will keep my Hacker .... for now.

I will report back to this thread on the performance of the 4330

I have a 57" Extra and was thinking of going for the bigger Slick next. I need more 4S packs and plan to eventually run them 8s in the Slick. What batteries do you guys reccomend?
