Hey has anyone had issues with the new Extreme Flight spinners? Mine lasted 3 flights, it appears that I torqued down the 3mm socket head bolts a bit too much so be careful of that! I thought I had it just right but here is a picture.

The Loctite is melting the plastic.
It happened to me on another brand.

It is pretty much the rule to never use Loctite on anything that can contact plastic, as it will make the plastic deteriorate... That said, I have had a couple of Extreme Flight spinners crack like that, even without Loctite...

Electric, never happened before but if I get another Extreme Flight spinner I'll just use a smear of CA.

If you feel you must use a Loctite material....use Tamiya thread lock..

I don't use any thread lock on my spinners, never had one come loose either. I use it on absolutely every other metal screw, but never on a spinner.

I don't either, which is why I said "if you must"...

Hmm crazy..I thought for sure it would have been a gas spinner that came apart but loctite is some toxic stuff. I do prefer the dab of thick CA instead.

as funny as it could be, im using UHU por, (wich would be welders for USA guys)

it gives rubber like feeling and doesnt melt anything!

Zap goo works wonders too. Strong stuff but stinks to high heaven

Finally got to fly my slick with the new servos. They are sweet. Running 8 volts to the hitec 7954. Got all 4 of them for $300 from chief. What a deal and what a servo! Happy l was able to fly again. It was a bit windy but l want to fly really bad.
