Better to puff a pack then pile in a plane. Set to custom, set 4v total. Then use a timer. Start off with the timer set low. And then adjust for the next flight. Etc.

That's true, I had an issue with mine original Slick on 8S (battery dropped a cell) and I was able to limp it back on 7S enough to land. Batteries are cheap, airframes aren't!

FYI the new 4330 is $189, the 4325's are $169.

Got my 4330 in today. Just for those curious it looks pretty much exactly like the 4325's, only longer I assume. I haven't swapped out the 4325 on my 71 just yet, will do that probably friday evening/afternoon and get the 4330 swapped onto the plane. I'll take a pic of the two side by side when I have them both off. And weigh them as well.

5mm stack height on a stator can make a heck of a difference for sure.

Motrolfly 4330 vs Motrolfly 4325

Ok, here are some pics of the 4330 and 4325. As well as the weights of each. The 4330 is 560 grams, while the 4325 is 510 grams, so a good 50 grams, or just shy of 2 ounces lighter.
They look visually identical, and use the same mounting bolt patterns as well. The 4330 is just 5mm longer. Haven't flown it yet, will do that sunday.

So the 4330 is about the same weight as the lightened 5320. Nice! Wonder if its just as efficient?

Borrowed a set of hitec7954 servos. Put 8 volts to them. Wow they are much faster than my 7985s at 6.7 volts and faster than the 7955s at 7 volts. Just need to set up control throws and l then can find out how these hv servos are.

3.2 volts is fine, you definitely don't want to set it to 3.6 volts. I usually set mine somewhere betweem 3.0 volts and 3.2 volts and also soft cutoff and you will be good to go.

So today i went to the field and fired my 71 up to learn that my choke servo was not working. I am running HT 7955 for all my control surfaces and ht 5665 HV on my throttle and choke. When I got home I pulled it out and opened the bottom up and it smelt burnt. I bought them from Chief air craft a month ago. Will they swap this out for me?? I sent them a email but have not heard back yet. What could have caused this to do this??
