The Corolla is SO much better on gas also, 3 hours each way for the pick up. I'm almost positive I can get her inside the Corolla but if I can't it's an epic fail.

Also got my fingers crossed that 71" spares show up with the new ARFs in two weeks. The new/old girl is going to need a rudder, wheels, and pants.
I managed to stuff mine (70") in my Cadillac CTS, but I REALLY don't think a 71 would have made it. There was some flexing of the rudder involved to get it in there. I think a Corolla would be very risky.

Right on, I didn't know that. I still don't think a Corolla will be able to house it though. If you do get it in there, TAKE PICS!!

I would bet it could with one person in the car. Lay the passenger seat all the way back and get creative.

There is a pic in this thread of a 70 in a sentra. It's doable.

I guess if the back seat will fold down, it makes things a little easier. Mine doesn't fold down, so I have no extra space if needed.

Yep, that's pretty much the plan. I was also able to drop the back seat to get access to the truck area. I'm pretty sure I can make it work. She needs a new rudder anyway so work case I just remove that on site.

The hole going from the trunk to the interior of a sentra is to small to be any good for anything.

You can fit it in more places if you pull the gear off. In my honda 2002 cr-v with the back seats pullout, I got a 65,70,71,72,74, 51, 51, epp. No way if I left the gear on. All this went to the FLI.

The Corolla it is. Hitting the road here in a few minutes. Should have her loaded up by lunch and home by 4pm or so if traffic isn't terrible.
