I had the same, a few seconds with a small drill bit cleared the slots for me. I'm afraid if you did the horn first you might get glue in the way of the joiner.

I did tweak mine a little also (slightly tapered ends of pins and cleared holes a little). I think you might want to put the little wood piece back on there for strength.

It was very easy with a dremel sanding wheel. I didn't do that on the prototype, makes me wonder if the ball end hitting the arm could have contributed to the servo arm screw loosening that caused it's demise. Regardless, I strongly suggest everyone do something to lock that screw in place, I'm going to try hot glue.

+1 No one can complain about how much pull/pull cable was included. I think I have enough left over for another 47" plane.

+2 The size makes it very easy to work with but the pucker factor for me was a little higher due to the cost of the airframe.

+3 I think I just re-filled my parts bin with what is left over from this build.

The airframe is a free roll for me so I am lucky that way. I think the saying is fly the biggest you can crash.

Got to work today and had a nice surprise. I just about forgot I had one ordered!?? Really no time to fly of late, so anyone want a plane??? Trade for your 69 Camaro, 86 RZ500, or a nice fast bass boat...by the way, I have been told this plane flies very well. Even a cave man can do it.

Yikes, I better sell all my planes because I can't afford to crash any of them.

Mine is already to go. Just have to add the velcro for the battery. Nice easy build. Pic quality is so-so as I used my cell phone.

Well, I'm totally jealous of y'all. Mine was delivered yesterday while I was in at a tradeshow in Denver. Unfortunately, the triple boxing was no match for the journey and the fuselage was mashed pretty good in front of the rudder as well as a nice caved in part of the canopy. I'd post pics but I don't want to be the first to put up carnage it's too dang depressing. Will have to call Ben to find out next steps.

Beautiful looking plane though, makes it even worse having half of a beautiful plane in the garage.
