You want a PJN xoar not a PJH

That 20x8 CF would work too!

Would the 20x10 be okay though? I'm all aliens to this, as my Slick 51 was second hand, haha!

Is this the right motor? http://www.fast-lad.co.uk/store/hack...l-p-15946.html

Also, is this the right ESC: http://www.fast-lad.co.uk/store/cast...hv-p-8618.html

Also, about this battery: http://www.fast-lad.co.uk/store/hype...d-p-14349.html

Lastly, what battery connectors should I use?

You should like the Tacon. I've been flying it on my 71" Slick since June and get great performance on 8S with a 18X8 or 19X9 Beechwood prop.

Deans work wonderfully up to 100 amps...but you do have to solder them. Power Pole's are good, but you have to have a good crimper...take your pick.

My connectors are deans and they have done well for bursts above 100 amps. Power poles are great also. No performance decrease with either. Choose the one you're most comfortable soldering/crimping.

For me, big amps and big volts = bullets. They're also probably the easiest to solder.

18X8 69-72 amps and 2200 watts (Falcon E prop)
19X9 81-84 amps and 2700 watts (JXF Gas prop)

Per the logger on my Ice 100. The general consensus is that there is some question as to the accuracy of the data logging on the Castle ESC's.

Tacon Bigfoot 110

One thing on this motor, the prop shaft is 12mm. Most props for the 71" Slick are going to be 10mm bore.

You'll need to enlarge the prop bore or find a bolt on prop shaft that is 10mm and will fit the Tacon. I found one at Value Hobby that is for the G110(63-54), G160(63-64) motors. Good price also, $3.59.
