I think if you smelled burnt electronics,there is a winding or something in the motor that has delaminated.A short or open is probly next in line for it.If it is getting that hot then yes,prop down or get some cooling ducts glued in the canopy or on the motorbox somehow.
My experience is,if it smells burnt,it probly is.Sorry bro,Id at least pull the bell off and take a serious look at it.

Check it with a watt meter for amps,volts and watts, If it is still running and your watts are in range you should be ok.

Do not use the logger in a CC ICE for the check

If you fried it Hacker will make repairs for a fee, less than a new motor.

Btw, what is the ambient temp at your place ?

Also, you could build stuffs in the cowl to help drawing air to the motor.

At 10C, you should be fine with 19x8. Just make sure that you dont fly at WOT for too long.
I was flying with Xoar 19x8 in April this year, temp was about 10C and motor came down slightly warm.

Anyway, Xoar 19x8 or 18x10 should be fine, just dont use the APC, IMO.
It's really worth the extra money for the Xoar props.

I am using to different airbrushes. The large sections I made templates for and used a larger spray pattern airbrush. The black trace lines not shown on the picture were done with a card stock template and very fine airbrush.

looks great! what are you using for masking? Even on Depron, I always get paint bleeding under my masking.

Yeah, but much less than in US (here is our forum forum.rcdesign.ru - not an ads) and all guys having 3dhs planes could be easily counted.
As far as I understand the shipping costs are much higher than for US customers and unfortunately 3dhs is not well known here in Russia. Even though 3dhs planes are the best and awesome planes I've ever flown (already have 5 of them).

...my guess on the motor glowing was airflow and prop. size....lots of low slow stuff, harrier, hover, rollers....there's not much air flowing over anything during those maneuvers.
