too kool . i really want a gr70 setup but dang esc blows that away money wise..i will be gathering parts throught the winter for a big bird at seff if ben will bring me another one,then build and fly it at seff..or just pay him to bring one rtf...either way..or the fly low in..still figuring how i can do both.ill skip seff to do fly low if i have to.

Scott says the CC140HV works well with the GR70. As soon as I can get one I'll let you know.

Had one on Sunday with a gasser 33% Edge, it wasn't even fair. Well, I made it as fair as possible, he was hovering about 50' or so, I was about 15-20' he said go and I blasted past him in a few secs. I never even hit full throttle.

Methinks it's manufacturing process and or manufacturing location. Part of the details in the ICE packet is that some of it may be assembled in China now... they used to only say that only some components were sourced in China too keep their "made in USA" label on the packet, there's no such label on the ICE packet.

vertical drag racing... isn't smaller an advantage to get better power to weight?...

Here's a relatively simple way to install the Neu setup for those interested. Basically, just drill / enlarge the hole to allow the motor to fit (but not too large as to allow you to still drill the four supporting hole.

The vid doesn't really do it justice, that's a big plane...like 70 less squares than my 87" SHP. Out of the whole last weekend, nobody took any other vid of it except a little night flying.

He wants one of these 70" Slicks, hopefully he'll get one this weekend.
